Dossier sent!

           I was literally holding back tears today at the UPS store. I didn't want the super sweet lady that had been helping us by notarizing everything and copying everything to think I was crazy right before she sent out our Dossier to Birmingham. But I just couldn't believe it! I was so filled with joy to be at this point, and thankfulness for this woman's kindness and patience with us, I just wanted to cry tears of joy and thankfulness. There is a light at the end of the tunnel!

          This is a HUGE step and we finally did it! All we have to do now is wait for Costa Rica to approve it. (this can take 2-4 months) Once they approve it, they match us with our daughter and give us our court date. The court date will be about 3 weeks to a month after we are matched and then we are off to Costa Rica for 6 weeks to meet Little Hand! Our Lifelines worker told us that as soon as we are matched that we can Skype with our daughter! She also warned us that Dossier's are rarely approved immediately and that they will more than likely ask for a few more documents before giving the final stamp of approval. That stamp of approval is what we are so desperately waiting for, but now,

it is finally in sight.
