We received some exciting news last week! It looks like we will be traveling to China between February and May :) This is going by faster than I expected and it is all becoming so real. I am SO thankful to The Lord for everything He is doing!

So excited for this new addition to our family!!!

I read this passage this morning:

But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons. And because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!” (‭Galatians‬ ‭4‬:‭4-6‬ ESV)

My heart was overwhelmed with thankfulness! It reminded me of the beauty of my own adoption. Going through the adoption process is making these truths, if possible, even more powerful and meaningful in my life. It is helping me understand my adoption by God on a whole new level. When Jeff told me he wanted to adopt he wrote, "How could I not want to adopt? I myself am adopted." Praise God.
